THE CD Library! (with emphasis on 'THE'), is a complete solution to storing and retrieving your CD collection. It is designed to work with Dacal, ZeoTek and BesTrade USA, (all made by Dacal), CD Library carousels including the newest Dacal DC-016RW PowerDrive! But you don't have to have these units to utilize the power of this software.
THE CD Library! is FREEWARE and it is designed to run on ANY version of Microsoft Windows including Microsoft Vista. Well, it does not run well on Windows 7 yet.
The database used is a Microsoft Access database so there is nothing proprietary and nothing is hidden.
THE CD Library! will index your data files as well as retrieve track information from the FreeDB CD Database using your Internet connection. You can listen to your audio CD (CDA files). Planned for a future release will be the ability to play your mp3, wav, wma, mp4, m4a and ogg audio files, (mp4, m4a and ogg will require the download of a third party audio codec).
You can scan your CD inserts, copy and paste CD images into the lower right pane of the library. There are so many things you can do and many options are available for you to make using THE CD Library! easy and in a manner that works just for you.
